In 2007, I went on my first missions’ trip with World Hope. On that
journey, I understood the phrase We Are World Hope. It’s everyone working
together to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It takes everyone, doing
their part, to change the world.
In 2010 I was asked to volunteer with World Hope on a weekly basis. The
following year I went on my second trip with World Hope. I was given an
opportunity to help coordinate the annual medical clinic at The Hope
Center in Nairobi, Kenya. It was on that trip when I fell in love with
World Hope. I have been blessed enough to be able to go every year since
then. Traveling with World Hope to Kenya is the highlight of my year. To
be used by God in a way I didn’t know possible. The World Hope staff is
more than welcoming. The freedom they give each traveler to use their
gifts to love others is inspiring. The things I like to do, I get to do
through World Hope.
To see what God is doing through World Hope is amazing. God is doing the
impossible. Because of the people and friends I have made, my life will be
forever changed. I believe in what World Hope is doing and I believe in
the mission, and if you’ve never been on a mission trip, you need to
definitely consider coming with us.

I would like to come to Detroit but the only time I can go is during the summer months. Do you have mission trips during the summer?
