Some people want to be a savior or teacher of a better way when they go somewhere not realizing that is the very people that you believe you are impacting that are affecting you in return.

We are so thankful for everyone who joined us on the trip, those who gave financially, and all of you who faithfully prayed for us. God’s hand was evident in every moment, and we give Him all the glory!

Two years ago I began to question why I do what I do. Is the work I’m doing really making a difference? I guess we all question our life’s purpose at some point.

You could feel God’s presence all over the school campus, no matter where you went, and a big credit goes to the fruit of the Spirit the teachers, students and staff show each and every day.

Traveling to Kenya in 2025 with World Hope was the best thing I have ever done. It stretched me farther than I thought my faith could go, and it was the biggest blessing in return.

From high school, I knew I wanted to help people, though I wasn’t sure exactly how. I was drawn to healthcare and initially considered becoming a nurse. After researching and praying, I chose Health Service Administration because I wanted to be involved in making decisions that impact vulnerable populations. In 2011, I began volunteering with World Hope, and soon after, signed up for a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya.

I met a lovely woman named Faith Mungania (The Jewelry Maker) and we talked about her life, and she was such an amazing person with an amazing story.

This man has the behind the scenes of everything and I thought who better to interview than the camera guy Steve.

I had the honor of meeting Jennifer. She is a waitress at Four Points by Sheraton. She is very proud of the fact that she has worked hard and is financially independent at the age of 21.
