For those of you who have been following along with the Children’s tents in Kenya we have some very exciting news! The tents are up! This has been quite a struggle as we began work on these tens nearly 6 months ago. The slabs have been laid and now the tents have been raised. There are still a few finishing touches that need to be done, however Children’s ministries should begin in these tents very soon.What does all this mean? Well it means nearly 300 kids from around the church both in the Lavington area as well as in the neighboring slums of Kawagware will have a place to grow, learn and worship without having to trek “down the hill” and across a roadway to Hope Academy. These new tents, 3 in total though they will house 5 spaces, have been the results of much prayer and anticipation by so many involved. Two churches in the U.S. have been vital to this construction and this truly is the beginning of a new era at Hope Church!Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
