Kenya Summer 2025

In June 2025, we experienced one of our greatest trips ever!

We had 52 travelers from across the United States representing five different churches. Only in the family of God can people from various congregations, with so many different personalities, come together as one perfect team to serve.

At the Hope Center in Kawangware, we hosted a free medical clinic that served over 900 people from the surrounding community. People left with answers to their health concerns and medications to help bring relief. Upon entering the clinic, the Hope Church Lavington staff and volunteers met individually with each person-listening, loving, and sharing the Lord with them. By the end of the clinic, 108 people had prayed to receive Christ!

Our teams also spent meaningful time with the students and faculty at Hope Academy. It was a blessing for the students to connect with our teams and for us to build relationships with them.

We also launched two new churches in the last year: Hope Church Matasia and Hope Church Kibera. We were able to visit both, and at Matasia, the need to complete the building was great.

Thanks to the generosity of our group, the following needs were met:

• Gravel walkway to the church
• Signage at the front of the church
• A drum kit for worship
• A fence around the building

We are so thankful for everyone who joined us on the trip, those who gave financially, and all of you who faithfully prayed for us. God’s hand was evident in every moment, and we give Him all the glory!

We are world hope!
