Being a part of the Hope Academy Scholarship Program fuels transformational change for our students. Being a student at Hope Academy ensures vulnerable children receive not just education, but holistic hope, equipping Kenya’s next generation to lead, excel, and uplift their community.
$49 a month covers one student for a year.
Your scholarship donation allows us to take care of:
- Education with academic excellence
- Nutritious daily meals
- Uniforms
- Spiritual mentorship from teachers who are surrendered to ministry by teaching children
- AWANA
- Athletics (volleyball, soccer, and basketball)
Hope Academy was founded in 2000 by Dr. Dave Janney. World Hope transformed an 8-acre garbage dumpsite in Kawangware, once referred to as “Hell’s Hole”, into a beacon of hope in Nairobi’s second largest slum. Confronting extreme poverty, illiteracy, and spiritual need, we launched World Hope Academy in 2002 to provide affordable, Christ-centered education. Guided by our motto, “Train up a child in the way they should go and when they grow up they will not depart from it,” we empower children to break cycles of despair through holistic development. Today, our academy nurtures 350+ students (ages 3 to 15). We produce national-level athletes and alumni thriving in the medical, legal, and educational fields along with being community leaders who are equally serving in our church and school.
