We are going to start highlighting some our World Hope staff members and let you, our supporters and friends get to know them better! First is Tyman Ray who works with us at the K-Love Hope Center in Detroit.
1. Whats your position with world hope? Director of Refuge at the K-Love Hope Center in Detroit.
2. Where were you born and raised? I was born in Pittsburgh, but moved to Detroit when I was 1 year old. I was raised in Detroit.
3. What’s your favorite bible verse? Matthew 6:33 – NLT 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
4. Michael Jordan or Kobe? Love MJ, but Kobe put up 81 points in less than 3 1/2 quarters…Kobe!
5. What year will the Lions win the super bowl? LOL…2018 You heard it here first.
6. What’s the greatest part about The K-Love Hope center to you? It’s the people that work here. It wouldn’t be same without the people that work and serve here everyday.
7. When did you start rapping? I started rapping at age 12.
8. What place do you want to go to that you’ve never been too? At some point I’d love to check out Hawaii.
9. What do you think God has in store for 2016 at the K-Love Hope Center? I know the transformation at the Center will continue, which will result in many more lives being impacted. We’ll have more church services, more student and adult programs, more concerts/events, and much more community outreach. All on a higher level. We’ll build more relationships with people locally and through the Missions Trips. The love of Christ will not only be shared, but also shown through how we love and serve our city.
10. Favorite color? Blue is my favorite color. Navy…. to be specific
