Seeing Hope Center for the first time

Upon seeing the Hope Center and the surrounding slum for his first time, Justin seems speechless. This is not an uncommon reaction. Kawangware Slum is a place where descriptive words get thrown out of the window. There is nothing about the slum that could be fully described merely by words. Its a place of harsh reality. Its a place of such great need that it compels you to live a life that makes a difference. Equally compelling is what sits right in the midst of it, Hope Center. A place that has become known to thousands as a oasis of refuge, self-discovery and hope, Hope Center is commonly known in the slum as “The Beacon of Hope.” As Justin says perfectly in the video, “You can just tell that Hope Center is a special place.”
