We have just returned from our trip to the KLOVE Fan Awards in Nashville. Well over 4000 fans attended the weekend from across the country at the Opryland Hotel, culminating in the Awards Show itself at the Grand Ole Opry. The event was a huge success and World Hope was privileged to have sponsored it.
We were able to set up an incredible display with the history of Detroit timeline on large panels, have several tables with iPads on them for displaying our videos, all of which led into our silent auction with over 60 donated items. By the time the weekend was over, we had raised significant funds for the ongoing refurbishment our new Hope Center. Beyond these immediate successes, long term we were able to make great contacts with leaders in business who are committed to seeing the Klove Hope Center succeed in a great way.
The weekend events led up to the finale, the Fan Awards Show, on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. The show, which included nearly everyone in Christian music (even Ricky Skaggs performed), was amazing and the best part was that we were a big part program. Our Detroit video was shown and followed up by a live performance by all of the artists appearing on our new hit song, Hope Can Change Everything.
Over 2 million votes were cast in the KLOVE Fan Awards voting, which enabled us to give four houses around the Hope Center in Detroit. These homes have been the centerpiece of the campaign airing on KLOVE’s extensive network of radio stations throughout North America, and World Hope has received unbelievable exposure in last few months.
We are so very grateful for our friends at KLOVE Radio and for partners like you who continue to make our dream a reality and who continue to help bring the World Hope.
