Pastor Roy Mack is from Conway, Arkansas. He was saved as a pre-teen in a small country church, The Bethlehem Baptist Church in Shady Grove, AR. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. He received his Bible degree from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport.

 

Pastor Mack surrendered to preach in 1989 and became the youth pastor of Eastwood Baptist Church. He started the Gospel Light Baptist Church and school in his hometown of Conway in 1992 and pastored there for seven years. The church grew every year and there were over one thousand decisions made for Christ while he was the pastor.

 

In 1999 he became the pastor of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Morrow, Georgia. During these past eight years at Pinecrest they have experienced a tremendous increase in church membership, the general fund offerings have reached new records every year, faith promise missions have more than tripled exceeding $300,000 annually, and many decisions are being made for Christ. Under his leadership, Pinecrest Baptist Church has purchased 20 acres of land in McDonough GA on I-75 where they have built a multimillion-dollar new church campus. The church just moved into their new home in March 2007. The church is experiencing tremendous growth and preparing for multiple services to handle the demand.

 

In addition to pastoring Pinecrest Baptist Church, Pastor Mack also serves on two Mission Boards and is a conference speaker for Missions and family issues.

 

Pastor Mack has been married to his wife April for 21 years and they have four daughters: Alison 17, Ashle’ Anne 15, Amelia 11, and Alivia 9 years old.
